Mk II and the gaming is ... Nada?

The Mk II book came, and the splash was ... well, less than exciting, that is, if the response from our local community has been any indicator.

Now, to be fair, we do have two tournaments coming up in March. But there has been no Resurgence event, which would have been fun to do. Sure, we've had some one off games, people on our boards setting up a game here or there with others, but there's been no coordinated effort to get back to our weekly night. Typically the organized leagues brings 'em out, but there's been little word, other than speculation and rumor, as to what the 2010 leagues will entail and how they will operate in the coming year.

Now, I've been out of it for a while (the lack of blog posts should attest to that). I have almost no Mk II games under my belt save for a couple of small 15 point games I played back in December when I got the chance to put my Retribution on the table (two Kaelyssa lists; I got my butt trounced both times against Cygnar forces, imagine that). To put it mildly, I'm anxious to get my models back out on the table.

Somebody needs to light a fire...

Hence the return of the Tuesday Nite Fights!
I probably don't have many local readers (in the Northeast Indiana, Fort Wayne region anyway), but if you happen to be around on a Tuesday afternoon or evening, stop by Books, Comics & Things at Georgetown and maybe we can get in a game. To get ready for the coming tournament, I think the month of March will be dedicated to playing Steamroller scenarios. I've got a couple of flyers that I'm going to put up at the store, and hopefully we can get some of the old regulars back along with some new players.
