So I got sucked into collecting Retribution models because their infantry just looks so freaking awesome. I almost have all my models put together, and after I get my Cryx list finished (and then probably a few more Cygnar models painted), I'll begin painting my angry elves. I finally finished gluing Adeptis Rahn together and let me tell you, I have put together some awfully challenging models before (Tharn Bloodtrackers, I'm looking at you) but few have given me the fits that Adeptis Rahn has. Why? Those damn vents on the back. Why oh why did you sculpt the two smallest vents separatedly Privateer? I have such big hands and these two little pieces are so, soooooo small. I had to get out my tweezers and fumble around for days (and several attempts at adding glue, only for it to dry and then I had to carve it off, and then add it again) before finally, finally getting those damn vents on. Whew, but it's done! Time to primer...

hehe, I had similar issues when assembling Vyros, the vents are very close together ;_;
I ended up pinning the smallest ones as they would not stay glued in.
Welcome to the Retribution :)
The only thing I have to say is AAAAGH DAMMIT EPIC SKARRE WHY MUST YOU BE COVERED IN SPINDLY BITS?
Have fun with the MHSF crossbows too... rather delicate contact points. Would have been so much easier if they'd just had the entire crossbows and forearms seperate...
... but we love 'em anyways :)
Those vents are so small I don't see how anyone could drill into them to pin them. The larger four vents above them are all part of the sculpt, but only the bottom two smallest ones are separate.
Yes, the MH crossbows were fun, but with some putty, I didn't find that attaching them was quite as frustrating. I supposed I could have puttied the vents on Rahn too, but I can hardly even hold them between two fingers...
Anyway, the vents are attached, and I hope to paint 'em up soon!
