Hunter or Prey?

Sometimes you have to call it quits. You've painted to the best of your current ability. Sure, you know there's improvements you'd like to make, but you tell yourself, there will always be improvements. I could work and work and work on my Hunter light warjack, and for the past week (plus) I've felt as if I did. Anyway, here's some pics, as promised...

So what's next? Mr. Strangewayes has been plaguing me all last week. I was able to get a fair amount complete on him, but then Haley and the Hunter distracted me. He's almost there, just some final details. I should have some shots of him later in the next couple of days.

If the hunter was just 10 points less I would take it in any army. You did a good job on painting him. Love the subtle color variations.

I tried to do some blending on the dome above the Hunter's head, but that is still a technique that eludes me. It is a transition from light blue to dark, but even with diluted paint and soft brush strokes, the strokes are still evident.

And btw, the Hunter only proves that the Retribution wasn't the first kid on the block to have the Mighty Ducks look. =)
